Candice Donehoo is a teaching artist specializing in musical theater with a concentration in voice. Currently, she is an adjunct musical theater voice teacher at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA.
Candice is a proud member of the AEA, NATS, PAVA, and MTEA. She has advanced her voice teaching and CCM training through professional workshops in Somatic Voicework℠ The LoVetri Method plus Rock the Audition Teachers Training with Sheri Sanders.
She is also the co-host of “The Mind Your Show Business” podcast which discusses the ins and outs of navigating the musical theatre business.
Some of her performance credits include: 1996 Tony Award Winning production of The King and I (Broadway/1st National), Jekyll and Hyde (1st National), multiple productions at the 5th Avenue Theatre including: Miss Saigon, SweenyTodd, The Sound of Music, A Christmas Story, Carousel, The Secret Garden, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Candice can be heard on the original cast recording of Tony Award nominated musical A Christmas Story as the soprano in the Radio Quartet. Other theatre credits: ACT Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Casa Mañana Theatre, and the Ogunquit Playhouse.
